In this seminar you will learn how to make glamorous portraits, working with both professional and unprofessional models. The seminar consists of three parts. First, you will learn some theory and get practical advice as regards posing and artistic light. Second, you will have a hands-on experience, working in a studio with a professional model (please take your camera with you). Third, the photographer will review your works and comment on them. You will get practical advice on post- production and final retouches in Photoshop.

Model’s poses for glamour portrait photography
Explanation of right and wrong usage of different parts of model’s body – hair, face, neck, shoulders, chest, belly, hips, legs.
2. Practice: 19.00 – 21.00
Working with a model: artistic lighting, poses, and psychological techniques.

Reviewing your works.

Post-production: processing of participants’ works in Photoshop. White balance/color correction, contrast, crop, selective color, patch tool, liquefy/ forward warp tool, sharpen/unsharpen.
